Ogata-mura's agricultural development leads the progress of our industry. We rely on the condition and potential of our environment, as well as the needs of our buyers, to determine our crop production. By considering our customers' requests, we are able to maintain a circular relationship with the purchasers of our goods.
We strive to preserve a healthy, sustainable agricultural environment for our future farmers.
We also promote outside innovative economic activity to stimulate our village economy.

Environmental Consciousness

We continually advance our practices of environmental stewardship. For example, we emphasize water purification, an active recycling society, wind power generation, and minimal or no use of agricultural chemicals and fertilizers.

For Safe Living

To ensure everyone's safety, Ogata-mura checks its disaster prevention system each day. The village established the "Ogata-mura Sefety Network Committee" in 2004, so we can react as soon as an event occurs.

With an aging society, our village is concerned with preserving and improving its social enviroment to benefit our children via a healthy upbringing, as well as to provide our elderly with ease of living.

The local government uses the reception desk in the village office as an important point of contact between themselves and the villagers.

Ogata-mura set up an effective administration to offer services and to make an energetic village.
We must address many topics because we are a self-governing community.

The 12-member village assembly discusses important issues, listens to the opinions and requests of the people and communicates its decisions without delay to the village administration.
